Do I need previous scuba diving experience?
No. Discover Scuba Diving is designed for complete beginners.
Do I need to be certified?
No. This is an introductory scuba diving experience and no certification is required.
Do I need to know how to swim?
You should be comfortable in the water and able to swim basic distances. You do not need to be an advanced swimmer.
How deep will we go?
The maximum depth is up to 12 metres, always under direct instructor supervision.
Is it safe?
Yes, when conducted professionally. You will receive a briefing, practise basic skills and dive with an experienced instructor by your side.
What if I feel nervous?
That is completely normal. Many guests feel nervous before their first dive. Our instructors are used to helping beginners relax and enjoy the experience.
Is this a diving certification?
No. Discover Scuba Diving is not a certification course. If you want to become certified, you can continue with the PADI Open Water Diver course.
Is equipment included?
Yes. Full scuba diving equipment is included.
Can I fly after diving?
After a single introductory dive, we recommend waiting at least 12 hours before flying.
