INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE

The SSI Instructor Training Course is a unique program that has stood the test of time. In order to stay competitive in today’s diving industry, the program has been updated to ensure that all Dive Professionals are equipped with the latest retail business training and industry knowledge.

Our SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC) here in Madeira will teach you to conduct scuba diving courses in the safest and most thorough way possible. We’ll share our years of experience with you and practice working with students from the beginning to end of each program.

Time and logistics are essential key points during the ITC. Maximizing your efficiency and time is one of our primary goals. Here at Azul Diving Madeira you will find a multimedia classroom, 3 Freshwater pools, 1 Saltwater pool and open water just a few steps from the center.

SSI Instructor Training (ITC)

Prerequisites

 Certified as an SSI Dive Master, PADI Dive Master or equivalent

 18+ years of age with the correct, positive attitude to become a scuba diving instructor

 75 logged dives (100+ logged dives are required upon completion of the ITC)
 Current medical exam for diving, signed by a licensed medical practitioner
 Provide proof of current 1st aid and CPR training (valid within 24 months)
 Full set of scuba equipment
